Position Title: SharePoint Developer Â
Schedule: HYBRID (3 days per week onsite)
Position Status:Â 8-month contract with rolling extensions
Overview: Our client is looking for a SharePoint Developer for a HYBRID position based out of Richmond, VA.      Â

Position Status:Â 8-month contract with rolling extensions
Overview: Our client is looking for a SharePoint Developer for a HYBRID position based out of Richmond, VA.      Â
Responsibilities:
- Digitizing paper-based records for storage and management in SharePoint.
- Seeks a SharePoint Architect to support the digitization effort by creating and managing SharePoint sites for customers across the agency.
- Advise customers on SharePoint features and how they apply to their unique needs.
- Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create consistent user-friendly design and implementation approach.
- Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure 508 compliances, adherence to design standards and provide a seamless user experience.
- Understand and troubleshoot security issues, customer questions and other inquiries as needed.
- Understand and apply approved standards and processes.
- Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies, creating, and managing file plans and building simple workflows and processes.
- Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines.
- Identify and escalate items that are architecturally significant and thereby affect development design/approach/solution.
- Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts.
- Facilitate trainings and education opportunities.
- Other duties as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 Years – Previous experience as a SharePoint Developer/Architect.  Â
- 3 Years – Has UI experience.   Â
- 3 Years – Has UX experience.  Â
- 3 Years – Developing custom SharePoint solutions.   Â
- 3 Years – Extensive knowledge using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath. Â
- 3 Years – Ability to manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center.  Â
- 3 Years – Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management.  Â
- 3 Years – Proficiency with Power Platform Components (PowerApps, Power Automate/Flow, etc.), Migration manager, etc.
