Job Description
Morton is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a 6–12 month contract engagement with the potential to convert to a full-time role. This is an opportunity to work on backend engineering, systems integration, and full-stack application development in a fast-moving environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, backend architecture, API integrations, and cloud-based development in Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript and JavaScript
- Build and optimize backend services and system integrations
- Develop and manage API connections, including integrating and orchestrating data between multiple external/internal APIs
- Create scalable, secure, and maintainable application architecture
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define technical requirements and implementation plans
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
- Contribute to cloud-native deployments and infrastructure in Azure
- 5+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Deep backend engineering experience, including APIs and integrations
- Hands-on experience connecting and integrating multiple APIs
- Experience building and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience with modern development workflows, version control, and CI/CD
