Overview: Our client is looking for a Security Architect for a REMOTE position based out of Richmond, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Security Architect is responsible for the design, build, and implementation of Microsoft Modern Workplace, Identity, Security, and other enterprise-grade technology solutions for our valued customers.
- Lead client meetings and technical discussions.
- Provide consultation and collaborate with clients.
- Review Statements of Work (SOW).
- Analyze customer requirements.
- Discuss and whiteboard architectures.
- Document technical architecture.
- Create of project deliverables and artefacts.
- Implement and deliver projects in partnership with the Team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years’ experience in a technical consulting role.
- 3+ years of experience implementing Identity Management Solutions, preferably Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Microsoft Identity Manager, and/or on-premises Active Directory.
- 5+ years of experience implementing Microsoft 365.
- 3+ years of experience with Windows Server 2016+ Management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, as well as familiarity with the Microsoft Security Stack:
- Defender for Office 365
- Defender for Identity
- Defender for Endpoint
- Defender for Cloud Apps
- Defender for Cloud
- Defender for Server
- Azure AD Privileged Identity Management
- Azure AD Conditional Access
- Defender Antivirus/Windows Security
- Azure MFA
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, including some or all of the following:
- Implementation of application integration with Active Directory
- Active Directory Federation Services
- Active Directory security and hardening
- Group Policy Object administration
- Active Directory DNS, DHCP
- Active Directory Certificate Services
- Strong Understanding of Device Management:
- Microsoft Intune
- GPO
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM
- Ability to develop business cases and plan technology solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Working knowledge of other technology infrastructure components, including but not limited to TCP/IP, Firewall rules, SSL, system management / monitoring.
- Advanced Level experience with PowerShell or other scripting capabilities as well as MS SQL.
- Experience with Azure AD SSO Integration.
