AV Project Manager (8757)
Job Description
Morton is seeking an AV Project Manager for our client in Richmond, VA. This person is responsible for developing and managing Audio/Visual technology projects for customers by managing cost, time, and scope constraints. Primary duties include creating and maintaining a project plan that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status, resource allocation, and financial status.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

First line for answering phone calls and responding to emails from customers and technicians

Develop project plans, goals, and budgets; identify resources needed; develop schedules; and measure results in ConnectWise
-
Understand overall project objectives, as well as the role and function of each project team member
-
Ensure project objectives and requirements are clear and agreed upon by all team members
-
Coordinate delivery and installation of technology that meets quality assurance standards
-
Assist project team in design and development tasks

Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion within budget requirements

Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery through production

Design and maintain technical and project documentation

Confirm product ordering with Purchasing for projects and coordinate additional requirements (equipment, lifts, scaffolds, etc.)

Coordinate new installations and assist in warehouse staging of equipment as needed

Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, project progress, and any changes or outages
Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Continually work to improve customer service perception and satisfaction

Work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively

Escalate project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels

Maintain business awareness, including knowledge of customer operations and how AV/IT supports their strategy and goals

Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer needs

Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities

Enter time and expenses into ConnectWise as they occur
-
Complete assigned training materials and learning modules related to ConnectWise
-
Enter all work as activities, service tickets, or project tickets into ConnectWise
-
Review AV/IT publications and online materials to remain up to date with emerging technologies
