Position Status: 12 - month contract with rolling extensions
Schedule: ONSITE
Overview: Our client is looking for a Project Manager for an ONSITE position based out of Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Looking for a Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in the field, with specific experience with server migration to cloud hosting.
- The project manager is responsible for managing the project scope, schedule and budget and reporting to IT management on a weekly basis or as agreed upon.
- The project manager will assist the IT Division staff in responding migration partner queries, coordinating tasks assigned, and ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and meet key deadlines.
Requirements:
- The Project Manager must have 10+ years of project management experience with multiple projects lasting 6 – 12 months and teams of 3 – 4 people.
- Must have minimum of five (5) years’ experience and extensive knowledge of applications development.
- PM experience with a PMP Certification.
- Must be experienced or be familiar with network infrastructure and application servers.
- Experience with Oracle and Websphere servers is a plus.
- Process optimization, best practices, change management, facilitation and internal/external consulting is highly preferred.
- Must possess strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Should have excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills.
- Will be expected to successfully coordinate between partners, IT Division and end-users.
- Should be flexible in managing/coping with change in direction and priorities.
