Job Description
Position Title: IT Technician
Position Status: 6-month contract to permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:00am – 5pm)

Position Status: 6-month contract to permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:00am – 5pm)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical and administrative support for client software and equipment through remote as well as onsite administration for physical security systems (CCTV and security software), intrusion detection, and access control management
- Deploy and build new hardware and solutions including servers, workstations, mobile devices, cameras, access control hardware, UPS batteries, remote access technologies, switches, routers, and wireless technologies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Network experience and knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, LAN/WAN
- Previous desktop/server/helpdesk experience supporting hardware and software in a corporate environment
- One or more industry recognized certifications (CompTIA/Microsoft/CISCO/etc); Cisco CCNA strongly preferred
- Troubleshooting skills and experience resolving and documenting customer issues using a formalized ticketing system
- Experience with remote troubleshooting, monitoring, and diagnostic tools
- Technical writing and detailed documentation skills (Visio/AutoCAD/diagrams/flow charts/etc)
- Prefer hands on experience with physical security systems, PACS, VMS, PLC, Cameras, and security software
- Prefer experience with shared storage technologies (RAID, ISCSI, SAN)
- Prefer experience with virtualization and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/VMWARE)
- Prefer basic programming or script experience (SQL, HTML, Python, Java)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
