Job Description

Position Title: IT Support Specialist I    
Position Status: 12 - month contract with rolling extensions 
Schedule: ONSITE
Overview: Our client is looking for an IT Support Specialist I for an ONSITE position based out of Richmond, VA.         
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Seeking contract IT Support Specialist I to work on technology projects, phones, laptops light networking and some audio visual at the Governor’s Office and to support the rest of the transition and support the administration. 
  • This position provides services to maintain and support daily IT operations and the underlying technical infrastructure at Office of the Governor and Administration. 
  • This includes but is not limited to direct technical support for all IT related equipment owned and operated by the Administration Cabinet, their staff, Office of the Governor, and Lieutenant Governor. 
  • This includes workstations, data network, voice network, server file management, vendor wireless hardware components, and network printers at multiple locations.

Requirements:
  • 2 Years – Knowledge of information technologies and systems.
  • 2 Years – Knowledge of the industry and trends.   
  • 2 Years – Persistence and resourcefulness experience.
  • 2 Years – Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
