Position Status: 6-month contract with extensions
Schedule: ONSITE
Overview: Our client is looking for an IT Sourcing Consultant for an ONSITE position based out of Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities:
- This new role is more related to writing solicitations, writing requirements, running larger and more complex Procurement responsibilities.
- Seeking an IT Sourcing Consultant to execute sourcing strategies for assigned projects.
- Role will assist in drafting and finalizing solicitation documents, drafting bid tabs, evaluating solicitation responses, completing reference checks, review of terms and conditions, and drafting contract documents.
Requirements:
- Ability to draft requirements in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to draft solicitation documents that detail needs clearly.
- Assist customers in solving business problems.
- Review terms and conditions and provide redlines for management review.
- Ability to follow VPPA and APSPM guidelines.
- Understanding of basic procurement/sourcing principles.
- Ability to lead procurement teams through the sourcing process.
- Ability to help manage customer expectations and provide strong customer service.
- Communicate effectively and clearly with internal and external customers.
