Position Status: 12-month contract with extensions
Schedule: ONSITE
Overview: Our client is looking for an IT Purchasing Analyst for a ONSITE position based out of Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities:
- IT Purchasing Analyst to handle day to day procurement functions such as selecting appropriate procurement method.
- Processing and maintaining electronic procurement requests received through the Procurement service desk.
- Reconciling vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
- Participating in vendor meetings.
- Evaluates purchase requests and works with end users to obtain accurate specifications and/or requirements to meet their needs and allow for maximum competition.
- Procure IT goods and services in accordance with established policies and procedures.

- Procure goods & services in accordance with established policies & procedures.
- Procures goods and services in accordance with the policies & procedures.
- Evaluate purchase requests and works with end users to obtain accurate specifications and/or requirements to meet their needs.
- Facilitates pre-bid/pre-proposal conferences.
- Analyzes and evaluates quotes, bids and proposals, and awards contracts appropriately.
- Prepares clear and concise contract documents.
- Excellent customer service.
