Position Title: Desktop Support Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA 23230
Position Status: 6-month contract to permanent

Job Description: Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to work a Hybrid position located in Richmond, VA. They are building a trusted brand and a dynamic, high growth direct-to-consumer healthcare products company. Their mission is to help seniors live healthier, more comfortable, active, and connected lives by providing them premium, innovative products and services. They are looking for an exceptional new team member to join our Information Technology Department.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily systems support to company Users.
  • Support company O365 Environment, including O365 Mail, Office, Teams, and Sharepoint.
  • Assist with system testing in conjunction with the infrastructure team for patching, upgrade, and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with user incidents and issues, using company ticketing system to resolve incidents in a timely manner in accordance with team SLA’s.
  • Assist with modernization efforts moving on prem services and applications to Microsoft Azure services and on-going workload automation efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers through issue resolution, providing training as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience working in a customer facing, help desk environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft services and applications (O365, Active Directory, Teams, Sharepoint), possessing the ability to resolve Tier I and Tier II level issues.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience provisioning desktops, installing applications, and maintaining user accounts.
  • 2+ years hands on telephony experience, preferably Cisco UCCX.
  • 2+ years of experience performing server upgrades, patching and basic network security concepts.
  • Basic understanding and experience with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking).
  • 2+ years of hands-on database experience, preferably MS SQL Server 2016+
  • Exposure to Integration Tools is a plus, preferably REST API’s or iPaSS tools.
  • Excellent Communication and time management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects.
