Position Status:Â 12-month contract with extensionsÂ
Schedule: REMOTE
Overview: Our client is looking for a Business Analyst 2 for a REMOTE position based out of Richmond, VA.                     Â
Â
Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops, tests and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
- Â Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Assists system users with production support.
- Plans, develops, tests and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
- Evaluates user request for new or modified program.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.Â
- This position will be supporting a newly developed system related to grants and contract management.Â
- Production support will be a responsibility along with testing of configuration changes.Â
- Training in the system will be provided.Â
- Position will also be responsible for making administrative data entries into the system on behalf of system users.Â
- Successful candidates will be a part of an existing team that is responsible for supporting legacy systems in the Family Services Division.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience writing and executing test cases and accurately reporting findings.
- Demonstrated experience eliciting, developing, and writing user stories/requirements.
