Job Description

Position Title: Business Analyst 1
Position Status: 12 - month contract with rolling extensions 
Schedule: ONSITE
Overview: Our client is looking for a Business Analyst for an ONSITE position based out of Richmond, VA.         
 
Responsibilities: 
  • This position is to provide project management and administration support to multiple critical projects for the GOVS Office.
  • Business analysts will gather and analyze company data to identify needs and recommend solutions. They will work to eliminate redundancies and improve efficiency.
  • Identify vulnerabilities in processes and devise data-driven solutions for improvements. As the liaison between IT and management, business analysts convert the findings of data specialists and programmers into practical remedies.
  • The position will assist the leads to accomplish many project and budget administration tasks.
  • The tasks will include items like help managing procurements, receipts, invoices, payments, and software licenses. The tasks also include assisting with scheduling meetings and capturing meeting minutes. In addition, the position will also support application help desk and preparing support documentation.
  • Position will be hours (8:30am -5:00 pm) Must dress professionally.

Requirements:
  • 2 Years – Attention to detail and documentation.  
  • 2 Years – Analytical and critical thinking.    
  • 2 Years – Adaptability.  
  • 2 Years – Communication.
