Job Description

Position Title: Security Architect
Location: REMOTE
Position Status: Direct-Hire
Overview: Our client is looking for a Security Architect for a REMOTE position based out of Richmond, VA. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Security Architect is responsible for the design, build, and implementation of Microsoft Modern Workplace, Identity, Security, and other enterprise-grade technology solutions for our valued customers.
  • Lead client meetings and technical discussions.
  • Provide consultation and collaborate with clients.
  • Review Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Analyze customer requirements.
  • Discuss and whiteboard architectures.
  • Document technical architecture.
  • Create of project deliverables and artefacts.
  • Implement and deliver projects in partnership with the Team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a technical consulting role.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Identity Management Solutions, preferably Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Microsoft Identity Manager, and/or on-premises Active Directory.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Microsoft 365.
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows Server 2016+ Management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, as well as familiarity with the Microsoft Security Stack:
    • Defender for Office 365
    • Defender for Identity
    • Defender for Endpoint
    • Defender for Cloud Apps
    • Defender for Cloud
    • Defender for Server
    • Azure AD Privileged Identity Management
    • Azure AD Conditional Access
    • Defender Antivirus/Windows Security
    • Azure MFA
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, including some or all of the following:
    • Implementation of application integration with Active Directory
    • Active Directory Federation Services
    • Active Directory security and hardening
    • Group Policy Object administration
    • Active Directory DNS, DHCP
    • Active Directory Certificate Services
  • Strong Understanding of Device Management:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • GPO
    • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM
  • Ability to develop business cases and plan technology solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Working knowledge of other technology infrastructure components, including but not limited to TCP/IP, Firewall rules, SSL, system management / monitoring.
  • Advanced Level experience with PowerShell or other scripting capabilities as well as MS SQL.
  • Experience with Azure AD SSO Integration.
